I have lived long enough to be born at this home site, raised on a 100 acre farm, sold real estate over 35 years and now have the opportunity to sell this 36.4 acres tract.  On this farm, my Dad built a generator in the swift stream (see photo below) which supplied lights in the 1940's when no one else in the neighborhood had power.  The neighbors (we were all farmers) would come to this home to listen to the radio powered by a generator to hear the weather forecast.  We had lights inside and outside all around the yard that burned day and night.
