"Holly" is happy here!

There was oak hardwood flooring underneath carpet in all three bedrooms that had never been finished.  The carpet was removed and floors finished-WOW! what a difference that made.  Not enough, so I had all the old vinyl taken out of the large country kitchen and replaced with oak hardwood flooring.  Both bathrooms have very nice ceramic tile on the floors and walls.  The home was painted completely on the inside and outside.  The newly painted gray-blue wood shutters looked so nice that  a matching architectural shingles roof was added, thus the curb appeal to this home draws much attention.  Long windows with new wooden blinds add to the beauty of this property.  

New sinks and faucets in the bathrooms and new stainless steel double sink in the kitchen updated the plumbing.  A new triple window was replaced over the sink and additional overhead lighting added.  The light and airy large country kitchen is our favorite gathering place. Wooden blinds throughout the house with not many curtains....all this will remain.  In the den is a beautiful old brick fireplace compete with hearth that had never been used, so gas fire logs were added complete with a wall thermostat control.  The den is so private on the back of this home.  You family will love to gather here.

A sensor light fixture added to the wall outside the garage-use on sensor or switch-your choice.  Added wiring (Electrical switch)  on outside for convenience in using a blower for the driveway-sidewalk and I use for my water fountain-a very cheerful sound outside.

The heating and cooling unit has been checked twice a year since 2002,  just a thing I do as preventive maintenance on property.  New Temperature controlled foundation vents installed in 2002-checked regularly by  W. E. Black Termite and Pest Control.

The Lennox Heat Pump was new in 1994, air conditioning is electric and heating is natural gas.  The hot water heater is gas.

All the shrubs were overgrown covering the windows.  They  were all cut back to the ground.  Looked pretty bad along with the grass that had more dandelion that grass, so the project began.  Mulch, aeration, fertilization, preemergence herbicide, postemergence herbicide, bed control, added borders, and more not to mention the love and labor that I personally did to make the beautiful yard that you see today.  I take much pride in the lovely yard.

Latest investment was a central "Beam" vacuum system.  The best thing since slice bread, the inside vacuum is wonderful on the hardwood and carpet.  But most of all it works so well  on the wooden blinds, lampshades and makes housework fun.  And, there is more, outside in the garage is another long hose with attachments to clean the cars, vans, etc.     

All the appliances-range (2002), dishwasher (2002), disposal and refrigerator (in last 5 years) will remain. 

Ooops! almost forgot extra insulation was added in the attic.
